Network Marketing: What is “Positioning”?
I want to talk about a word that is critical to success in network marketing/ MLM or ANY home business. Its funny I’ve never heard this word from any opportunity I’ve ever joined. It cannot be accomplished with those replicated sites given out by your opportunity.
The word is” POSITIONING”, and I’m not talking about the bedroom either. Positioning is establishing a relationship with a customer based on your knowledge or experience, regarding something they need and positioning yourself in their pathway to fulfillment. This can only be accomplished with your own personal website .
To market effectively you need to be perceived as and expert in your field of interest and LEAD the customer to your product or service. Having nothing more than your name and contact info on a replicated sales site is not positioning. Replicated network marketing/MLM sites are sales pitches and nothing more. They do nothing to let the person viewing the site know YOU are an expert on that subject.
