Network Marketing: Find your TARGET or your doomed.

target.jpg I am working hard to finish the “HOW TO” series on setting up your blog. While I am working on that, here is some very important information. This is the reason I feel it is so important to choose your keywords carefuly.

Here are two words that you must understand to succeed with ANY home business “TARGET MARKET.” Your MLM/ Network Marketing business is MARKETING. Without a firm understanding of who “wants” and will benefit most from your product or service you’re shooting in the dark. I’ve heard the sales pitch from countless MLM’s telling me “everybody needs this product, everybody”. Well that’s all fine and dandy but take this into consideration. I “need” to quit smoking, but I don’t, because I don’t WANT to quit smoking.

So if you call me up and try to sell me a product that helps me quit smoking, your barking up the wrong tree, I don’t WANT that product even though I my NEED it. Your job as a Network Marketer is to clearly define who “wants” the product or service you provide. The people who want your product are your “Target Market”.  It’s so sad to see a newcomer to Network Marketing go blasting out into the world thinking people will line up, cash in hand because “everybody needs this product”.
